Welcome back to Un-Toy Friday! If you’re following along with us, glad to have you back! If you’re new to the un-toy series, make sure to read this post.

Today’s feature was something that caught my attention when I found these awesome Smoothie Straws by the Monster Straw Company (the name doesn’t lie, these straws are HUGE!). We made DIY Yarn Paintbrushes out of them that were super fun!

3. Need a place to display the art your munchkins are making? Try this adorable easel made from paper straws!
4. Here’s another straw painting project (you’ll want more to display after making those cutey easels!)

5. Offer your munchkins a simple threading activity using straws and pipe cleaners.
Did these ideas inspire you to look for creative ways to use straws? Or maybe you’re going to do one of the activities/projects featured here. I’d love to hear about it! Leave me a comment letting me know what you’ll be making-and while you’re at it, stop by the Facebook Page and leave a picture of what you made! 🙂
Pssst…Wanna know a secret? I’m making a new project out of straws this weekend! I can’t wait to show you all what it is! Make sure to come back Monday to check it out!
