Hello, Winter fun!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you were one of the first people to see this fun little craft a couple weeks ago (you all loved it there!). I have finally got around to writing the tutorial for it here on the blog- It really only takes a minute to set up and leads to great toddler winter fun!

Supplies
- Clear plastic cups (you’ll have to test different kinds, as not all of them will work)
- Simply Juice lids
- Little People
- Pom Poms
I gathered all the supplies, plus a sample snow globe, into a divided tray and offered it to my kiddos.
We just worked with what Little People we had on hand, so our snow globes feature community helpers. It would be fun to use the nativity or Christmas Little People, though!
Directions
Fill an upside down cup with some pom poms and a character. Close it off with a juice lid and enjoy the scene! (You can choose to glue the lid to make it more permanent. I skipped gluing because I wanted to reuse this as an invitation to play again later.)
These DIY snow globes were easy enough for my two and three year olds to do independently, which makes this busy mama very happy! I also loved that these are “dry” snow globes- so the biggest mess to clean up was a stray pompom or two 🙂
We kept this activity out for a whole week and my kids made snow globes with all the Little People they could find!
I’d love to see your version of this activity on Instagram! Make sure to tag @munchkins_and_moms so I could see how it goes with your munchkins!
Great activity for little ones to do independently. And lots of creative options!
