Have you read the book Press Here by Herve Tullet? It’s a super fun book that’s all interactive for the kids. My two year old loves the book (I also add in sound effects as we press the “buttons.” It cracks him up!) This activity was all inspired by the simple art in the book.
Supplies:
I up-cycled milk and soda bottle caps to hold the paint. They’re the perfect size to fit the corks and the small amount of paint needed for this project 🙂
Both the boys got right into stamping their corks to make fun art prints!
This activity was quick and low-mess. I loved that it gave us a chance to bring the book to life and make our own “Press Here” art! Now, whenever we pass by it on our art wall, we act like we are pressing buttons just like in the book 🙂
